Fredrika Bremer (1801-1865) var en svensk författare och pionjär inom den svenska kvinnorörelsen. 1856 släpptes hennes berömda roman Heartha där hon krävde att kvinnor skulle vara myndiga.

She was the second daughter of five and the second child of seven of Carl Fredrik Bremer (1770–1830) and Birgitta Charlotta Hollström (1777–1855). Fredrika Bremer (1801–65) var sin tids mest framgångsrika svenska författare. Med romaner som Familjen H***, Grannarna och Hemmet blev hon en storsäljare både i Sverige och utomlands. Hon gjorde en bestående insats i litteraturen som reseskildrare.
